We came for the clam chowder in the bread bowl. It delivered what we were expecting. Friends recommended Boudin to us for clam chowder in San Francisco. Personally, I am apprehensive about trusting a chain to do something really well, but I cannot find anything really to discredit their clam chowder. We enjoyed it.

Easy grab and go place with ample seating it you want to eat there. Close to a Panera bread but with better bread and less food options.
